    There are countless examples where I have gone above and beyond for a customer, but one early experience in my customer service career comes to mind. I was working as a server at a restaurant and a woman asked me to hold her place in line while she ran to the bank. She said she would be right back and that it would only take a few minutes. A few minutes turned into over an hour, and the woman never returned. I patiently waited for her and eventually had to tell the guests who were behind her in line that I could no longer wait for her. This experience taught me the importance of being reliable and showed me the importance of always following through on my commitments.

    There are many essential skills for success as a travel agent. Some of the most important include: - Strong sales and customer service skills.
