Photographer Interview Questions

1. How do you approach telling a story through your photography? What is your favorite photography project that you’ve worked on, and why? How do you think about light when capturing a photograph? What are some considerations you take into account when planning a shoot? How do you work with clients to ensure they get the most out of their photos? What draws you to certain photographic subjects, and how do you go about capturing them in a photo? How much post-processing do you typically do on your photos? Are there any particular techniques or tools you use often? What tips or advice would you give to someone just starting out in photography? In what ways do you see photography as an art form? And finally, what is your vision for your own photography career?

My answer could be really long, so I'll try to summarize as much as possible. First and foremost, I think it's important to be true to your own voice and style as a photographer. There are no rules that say you have to shoot in a certain way, or use a certain type of camera, or process your photos a certain way. It's important to find your own groove and stick with it. That being said, I do think it's important to constantly learn and experiment with new techniques and styles - you can always improve your craft by challenging yourself in new ways.
