    There are certainly a lot of funny stories involving my work in marketing, but one of my favorites happened early on in my career. I was working on a small regional campaign for a large healthcare company and our team was charged with getting local physicians to start recommending the company’s products to their patients. We had a meeting with the regional sales director and asked him how we could best go about getting the doctors on board. He told us that he usually just bribes them with free golf rounds and nice meals. We all looked at each other in disbelief, not sure if he was joking
